Northern Lights in Iceland

It was a dream vacation to Iceland: A privately guided snowmobile ride on Langjökull glacier, exploring the Gullfoss waterfalls; strapping on crampons to climb the Sólheimajökull glacier, admiring the the Skógafoss waterfall and then the majesty of the Northern Lights.

They are all very hard things to do when you have a broken foot, if not impossible. Unfortunately, that is exactly the predicament a Missouri couple faced after the husband broke a bone in his foot and his doctor called off the trip. The couple, both Cavalry comprehensive travel insurance clients, were on the hook for cancellation fees of about $4,500 each.

They submitted a claim to Cavalry, and were diligently reimbursed for the full $8,995.

Cavalry combines the best medevac insurance with travel insurance benefits such as trip cancellation, trip interruption, lost baggage, primary medical expense coverages, and more. Cavalry is powered by Redpoint Resolutions, a medical and travel risk security company owned and operated by special operations veterans and physicians.
